solicitors. Names and addresses are
required.
All Tech / Solicitors shall be certified in the
category of service they perform.
All Tech / Solicitors shall be registered and
carry upon their person a Tech / Solicitor card
and certification card issued by TDA.
Company Vehicle Labeling
The sides of company vehicles shall
prominently display the name of the company
and the assigned charter number.
Technician / Solicitor Requirements
Before engaging in the Commercial
Pesticide Application business one must
obtain a charter through TDA. Each charter
holder must have a licensed chemical
applicator for each category of service
offered. Each branch office of the business
must have a charter and license.

Questions to ask Your Provider
Does your business have insurance,
liability and worker’s compensation?
WHY ASK:
If your grounds management provider doesn’t
have liability coverage and he/she damages your
property, you may be held accountable for the
repairs.
If your grounds management provider doesn’t
have worker’s compensation coverage and a
technician injures him/herself while on your
property, you may be held liable for his/her
accident.
Is your provider State Licensed?
WHY ASK:
If the grounds management provider has state
licensing not only is he/she adhering to the law,
but this also ensures you that the provider has
been trained to perform the procedure. If the
provider does not have a commercial pesticide or
right-of-way pest control license he/she cannot
legally perform the chemical applications.
Insurance Coverage
Insurance Coverage: TennLawn
Grounds Management will cover any
property damage that we may cause
while on your property.
Workman’s Compensation
Insurance: TennLawn Grounds
Management will cover any employee
injury that may occur on your property.
Vehicle Liability Insurance:
TennLawn Grounds Management will
cover any company vehicle involved in
an accident while on your property.
